We just moved to a new house and two large 20'+ trees were damaging our siding and roof, making it easy for critters to get into our attic. After collecting several quotes, JMV was extremely competitive. Other tree removal services tried to scare us away from selecting companies with low quotes, but JMV team did a great job. They were efficient and did a great job cleaning up after they were done. We JMV had them do stump removals for both trees. JMV ARE HONEST people! They kept there word and finished it one time with a great low price. I highly recommend JMV and his team!

Needed a large camphor tree thinned out in my front yard and a couple small trees removed. Looked at several companies and JMV had the best reviews. I now know why....they came out, came me a good quote...easy to schedule, they showed up on time and did an amazing job. Really happy with the work. They did a great clean up job as well. Communication through the whole process was top notch. All of the guys were very professional. Definitely recommend their service for any tree work.

They were able to take out an eucalyptus tree in a very challenging area with difficult access and they left the work area completely spotless! JVM Tree Service was accommodating, quick, and efficient at removing two medium sized (~20-30ft) palm trees for us. They also took care of the removal and the clean up of both trees entirely. The whole process took about 5 hours total even with non-ideal work conditions so I would definitely recommend anyone to try them out if they need trees removed.

JVM Tree Service did a great job removing a large tree for us. Communication and follow through were great by the estimator and the tree removal team. The written quote was a great price. I signed off on it and the job was completed the following week. The crew was on time and I was very impressed by how safely and methodically they worked on harnessing themselves in and cabling large limbs down as to avoid hitting the house. No standing around for these guys! The entire crew was working hard. Several were working on cutting the tree as others were cutting up branches and feeding the chipper. Impressed also by how they would stop and do maintenance; sharpen chains as needed. They also did an excellent job cleaning up…raking and blowing the debris afterwards. The guy who showed up afterwards to remove 2 stumps also did a great job. Definitely a top notch outfit! I highly recommend them.

We were in need of removing 4 very huge Italian Cypress trees located between our house and our neighbors, very close to electrical lines. The winch crew were amazing. One medium sized fallen oak & four long (over 20") tree trunks needed to be hauled UPHILL to the truck & chipper. NOT a problem for this crew of four!...the winch controller was a part of the chipper feeder, super sophisticated & powerful. wow. The custom -fitted truck looked like a fire engine neatly populated with many specialty compartments for ropes & harnesses, etc. They were done in less time than I thought possible. One of the best equipped crews ever as well as one of the best prices for the work done. 'Got a scary removal job? JMV is on the top of my list.

Juan the owner, Jonathan his Project manager and entire crew were fantastic. Very tricky to cut, large ( over 2 story tall) pine tree, close to fence and my house, was removed in 5 hrs. Guys were working very hard, cleaned up job site afterwards and caused no damages. I am super satisfied with their work and highly recommend JMV to next customer. BTW, Juan always responded to all my phone calls and gave estimate within hours.

Juan was super responsive on Yelp and provided competitive pricing for tree removal in Oakland. He came by to take a look at the tree within 24 hours from my initial quote request. We ultimately went with another service that our friends already had good experience with, but JMV Tree Service was one of our top choices and we will definitely keep them bookmarked for future work.

We had Juan and his crew remove a big 30 + foot tree from our side yard. The space was small and tricky to maneuver, but the guys did a great job. They were on time and were very nice. They even cleaned up our neighbors yard as well. They ran into a problem getting around our dog run fence with the stump grinder, but they removed the fence and then replaced it. All in all, great job and I am super happy!
